Natsu Matsuri 2014

Yeah we went to the Natsu Matsuri again this year. However we didn't dress up. Just wore t-shirt, cardigan, mini skirt and pants.

We used public transport to get there since we didn't want to waste time queuing for the shuttle service. So got ready and went out at 3 pm. Reached Tampines with plenty of time to spare so went to have chicken wings. It was yummy. At 5.30 pm met my friend and off we went to the school.

First thing to do was to get tickets. Then explore the FOOD area. Bought red bean soup with dango, green tea flavoured meiji ice-cream and yuzu flavoured swiss roll. Sat down at the sitting area facing one of the school swimming pools. Ate our food before searching for more. We went for takoyaki next and it was awesome. Was at Haru House booth, wanted to fight for goods but decided to give up after being pushed and all. So just took pictures with Kazue and Eliz. It was more than enough at that point of time.

Then we went down to the field to rest a bit. Watched a dance before heading back to find more food. Then met my friend's cousin who stick to us after that. Walked around some more before slacking off to a corner while waiting to go home.

Took the shuttle service to Tanah Merah MRT and said goodbye to my friend, her cousin and her cousin's friend. Took the MRT to Changi Airport and slacked a bit before taking the bus home.

It was an evening away from stress so it was an evening well spent.
