J Rock Evolution
It's been a while since I last updated this blog with anything so I thought I would take this opportunity to update it with a J-rock post.
There was this J Rock Evolution event that was held on the 5th of October @ SCAPE Warehouse. At first me and my sis didn't really wanna go for the event since we weren't too into the group but when a friend got a 'lobang' for us to go in without much payment, we grabbed onto it and it end up enjoying the performances.
The groups for the night were MUCC and Unite. MUCC have been around in the music scene for a long while now while I know Unite is relatively quite new. The genres for both groups were different too. But enjoyed both groups really well that day. Love them and really wish them would come back.
That day I had work so had to go to work first and then after work met up with my sis and we made our way to the event venue. We had asked my friend to help us purchase for us the cute Unite towel so we went to see her to get the towel. Then we went for lunch since I had not eaten. Then we slacked at Cineleisure while waiting to get the tickets to go in.
The Warehouse was quite empty. Not too sure why though. I thought there were many more J-rock fans in Singapore. But thanks to that we got quite a good view of the stage. And I tell you the performers were fantastic. I really enjoyed seeing the J-rock idols live. It's too bad that I can't see Alice Nine live. They didn't come to Singapore. T_T
Some of the souvenirs that we got for the concert was a light-stick, those break and shake ones. We used them for the concert. Totally shook my wrist until I can't shake them anymore. I jumped and shake too much too. My whole body hurts after the concert. Hahaha but it was fun. You can only do these stunts during a J-rock concert. ^_^ The other souvenir was a bass pick. How lucky we were to be able to collect one pick that they threw at the audience. Have always wanted to have that experience and glad to have it. Will definitely treasure it.
Now will definitely look out for more events from J-Live Asia. And many many thanks to them for bringing all these J-idols over to Singapore.
