Waseda Shibuya Senior High School Festival

It was a HOT day!!!

Woke up at 7 am because I had promised to meet my friend at 10 am and needed to go out by 9 am and I need at least an hour to prepare myself.

Took the train which was crawling to Clementi. Met my friend and took the bus to the School. It was a quick ride.

Went through the main gate and registered our names and received a nice booklet. We were asked to write our school name but seeing as we are no longer students, we left it blank. ;p

We wanted to do from up to down but then decided to do up to down so went to the third floor and went straight for the Karuta game play demonstration. It was cool watching the real Karuta play. It feels like I am watching Chihayafuru Real Life. Hee hee... Still waiting for the next manga part to come out. Oh... we always took a picture with the players to commemorate the event.

Then we walked around the floor. Most of it had long queues and since they told us to come back at ONE so went down to the other floor.

Entered the room for the Japanese games. It was not easy to get points. I wanted to take back one of the balloons as a souvenir but couldn't. Lousy me. Tried the Daruma first but couldn't get anything. Next tried the balloon fishing and it was not easy, the tissue got wet too fast and couldn't pull out anything. The bowling was next and those bottles just won't go down easily especially when the ball is a rubber ball that was too light and my power was weird. Lastly was the pinball and this is strength and luck. Ha... Anyway received sweets as reward for trying. Oh well...

Feeling hungry, we wanted to go for the CAFE but it was all sold out. SAD.

Then tried for the tea ceremony but the queue was long and the next session from the time we are queuing is another half an hour and because we wanted to go for other stuffs, we gave it a miss.

Queue for the the Hansel & Gretel Maze. It was fun. This one we had a good time in it. A little scary half way through not because of what was in it but more to the fact that it was dark and I can see where I am going. But overall a good exhibition for the time taken for us to queue.

After which we tried to go for the haunted house but the next session that we got for is at 3pm. So we went for another exhibition.

Next one was the Jack and the beanstalk attraction where it was more of mind games than anything else. This one was fun too. Cracked my head but was enjoyed myself.

After that a lot of the exhibitions were like closing so we decided to forfeit the haunted house and went off for lunch. And that's where our festival ended.
