Family outing to River Safari & Singapore Zoo
My dad has always wanted to bring my niece to the zoo so this was an opportunity that we had to bond with each other more. Love being with her.
Back from Japan, went for this trip to the River Safari with the family. Mostly this is for the little niece to have some education in knowing about animals.
She was excited and didn't want to sit in the pram. So letting the parent rest, I took care of her, running after her and holding her hand. At times needed to carry her, she is heavy but was ok since most of the time she wants to walk on her own. It was a pity that she was asleep during the boat ride but I can say she didn't miss much. She woke up after lunch and was active again. She was runnning around and didn't want to sit still. So entertain her. She managed to catch the seal show and she was watching it quietly. Then when it was time to leave she didn't want to leave. I was holding her and she didn't want to go back to her parents. It was cute but we had to part. Looking forward to another trip with her.
Other than rambling about my niece, let's see what was fun at River Safari. The fishes are huge. There is a huge crocodile but didn't manage to get a good view of it. Then the pandas. The red panda was so cute and so cuddly. Kai Kai and Jia Jia was cute too. It was a good thing that we manage to see them both. After that went on the cruise but really there wasn't much to see on that. The second half of the walk wasn't that memorable. The next time maybe should take the other boat ride.
Once we were out, went to have lunch at KFC. It was quite empty since it was past the lunch rush hour. So got to have a good lunch before moving on to the Zoo. We took the tram around and then headed to see the monkeys since we didn't want to go too far. Since there was time for a show, we went to see it. Then we went off home.
Not a big fan of zoos so maybe won't go again unless there is any event or other excuses to visit it.
