Who are the 'they' that I am referring to? Well the first one is the Green Ranger of Kanjani8 and the other is the 'Y' of KiS-My-Ft2. And since it's their birthday, I will rant about them in this post.
Tacchon (TADAYOSHI OKURA) turns 24 today. He's my favourite member in KANJANI8. Although he is the tall and good looking, he can be so cute at times.
His latest work would be with KANJANI8 which was their album title PUZZLE. His solo song "NO-NO-NO" (credits to the uploader - greeneighter) is totally loved and his unit song with SUBARU and RYO-CHAN "GLORIOUS" (credits to the uploader - soldoutsky) is such a nice song to listen to over and over again. Even the PV is soothing to look at.
Before KANJANI8, Tacchon had actually been chosen to be a part of V West. However since his interest is in dancing and thinking that an instrument would tie him down, he declined the position. (a move he would later regret) He was a member of Johnny's unit MAO.
He got a second chance when Johnny wanted an 8th member to form Kanjani8. Not knowing how to drum but eager to try, Tacchon began intensive lessons a month prior to the formation of Kanjani8.
After KANJANI8 was formed, Subaru made a band out of the members and Tacchon is in it together with Yasu and Maru.

Cinderella ni Naritai (debut drama for Tacchon)
:Kuramochi Bon works at a fast food burger joint, taking out the garbage. All his life he has been told he is ugly, and has never even held hands with a girl. A chance encounter with a mysterious doctor leaves him with 3 bottles of a potion which will make him look like someone else for 24 hours. When Bon gets transfered to another shop temporarily, he decides to use his potion to transform into the most handsome employee. With his new-found looks and confidence he reworks the shop, and asks the girl of his dreams out on a date.
In this show Tacchon plays the transformed version of Bon. He plays such a shy character that it's really a bliss watching him. Other than that he also plays a character that is popular but a bully to the ugly Bon. Seeing him so evil and full of himself is frustrating yet you just can't hate him for it.

Double & Kemarishi (KANJANI8 WINTER BREAK DRAMA SERIES)
: In Double, Tacchon is just a special guest. He appears as a drummer in a party (his drumming is superb as always) and talk about Doppleganger. I feel that his presence there was enough to make me happy.
In Kemarishi, he plays this character who is wheelchaired bound. Apparently because of a certain incident, his friend felt guilty for making him wheelchaired bound. Thanks to that guilt, his friend began to get involved in a dangerous game for the money to help Tacchon. However, Tacchon has a secret that made the friend change Tacchon for the better.
Hissatsu Shigotonin 2007 Special
:Here Tacchon is a toy maker who has his love set on an older woman who has a child with her. He has been helping her out at her shop. One day he confessed his feelings but she can't accept it since she still thinks about her late husband. Her husband was murdered and she has been planning to take revenge. And so since she trust Tacchon, she left her son to Tacchon and went to take her revenge. However she was found out and got killed instead. This caused Tacchon to be in grieve and wanted revenge. This is how he got recruited as a shigotonin. And that is the start of his 'work'.

Yasuko to Kenji
:The show focuses on a man named Kenji and his younger sister Yasuko, whose parents died in an accident 10 years earlier. Kenji was once the leader of a gang, but in order to support him and his sister, he began making a living as a shojo mangaka. His character normally wears glasses and appears to be a gentle guy, but he throws off his glasses and reverts to his violent side whenever he tries to protect Yasuko from danger. Part of the story follows Yasuko's romance with an intelligent and good-looking man named Jun Tsubaki (played by Tacchon). Jun's older sister Erika now runs a flower shop, but Erika was once a leader of a female gang, and she used to be in love with Kenji during those days.
Tacchon is always famous for his looks. (starry eyes)
Hissatsu Shigotonin 2009
:This is some sort of continuation of the 2007 special. It's still airing by the way. Tacchon continues his 'work' and takes care of the son of his late 'lover' and runs the shop that she left behind. However somewhere along the way, he got betrayed and got killed. It's so sad.

Next is Wataru Yokoo. He turns 23. He is the 'Y' of KiS-My-Ft2.
Entered Johnny's in 2001 and got into K.K.Kity. After that he became part of Kis-My-Ft which changed members a few times until Aug 2005 where it finally became KiS-My-Ft2.
So far he doesn't do drama but he does Johnny's Stage Show with the rest of his team mates and his Seniors.
