FLASHBACK
Mikomi and a few friends went to a beach resort for the summer vacation. They also got a job at the resort as a helper around the resort. Mikomi changed the hair style for the summer. Instead of her usual ponytail for her long hair, she cuts it short and went for a blue highlight. She now no longer looks like the studious girl in the library. The change is influenced by her three best buddies in class, Mahou Chikara, Suteki Hana and Suzu Tachibana. Mahou Chikara is a girl from the girl’s tennis team, Suteki is from the drama club and Suzu is from the girl’s basketball team.
I feel so weird in this hair style and with the highlights. It is totally not me. But Mahou and Suteki said it will be good for the summer since I will be out mingling with a lot of potential boyfriends. (sighs) The worst is not my appearance but working here in this resort by the beach. It has a nice accommodation for us but I am not used to working. I feel so nervous about the job. Oh who are those guys coming towards us?
A few guys came forward to greet the girls. One guy came forward and gave Suteki a kiss on her cheek. The other three just stood around.
Suteki: Let me introduce all of you to each other. Girls meet my boyfriend since junior high, Tsumetashi Yuki. He is the one I have been telling you girls about. Sorry I didn’t intro him earlier although he is in the same school as us.
Tsumetashi: It’s nice to meet al of you girls. Suteki has told me a lot about you. And by the way I am in class 2. This is my brother Satsuki Yuki. He’s a year older than me and in class 4.
Satsuki: It’s nice to meet you. I brought my friend along, my neighbor actually, Akira Yamato. He is in class 6. He’s good in kendo. He’s the same age as you girls.
Akira: I’m not really that great in kendo. I still have a long way to go actually. Satsuki always like to exaggerate things. Hope to get along with you.
Tsumetashi: Last but not the least is my friend from the same class as me, Ryu Takeshi. He’s good in soccer. You girls must watch his matches coming up in autumn.
Ryu: Please support the school team.
GIRLS: It’s a pleasure to meet all of you.
Suzu: I’m Suzu Tachibana from girl’s basketball team.
Satsuki: Oh then you are my junior. I’m in the boy’s team.
Suzu: Wow what a coincidence.
Satsuki: Yeah tell me about it.
Mahou: I’m Mahou Chikara from the girl’s tennis team.
Mikomi: Mikomi Shinjiru from the library club.
Akira: Librarian? You sure don’t look like one.
Mikomi: I know. I change my style for the summer.
Akira: You going to change back once school starts?
Suteki: She’s keeping the hair cut but she’s gonna remove the highlights.
Akira: Oh.
Suteki: Well since we are all here let’s all get down to work. Let’s go meet the owner.
