Mikomi: Inochi-nii, you’re back early.
Inochi: I didn’t have anything to do at the university so I came home earlier. Why? Don’t you like me being home? Do you hate your brother so much?
Mikomi: I don’t hate you at all. It’s just strange. You are always hanging out with your friends and always never home. I hardly get to see you.
Inochi: Well something happened and I rather be here for the time being.
Mikomi: Did you have a fight with your friends or something like that?
Inochi: Oh no not me. I’m not directly involved. I’m kind of stuck in the middle of their fight so right now I don’t want to see them and hear their problems. They can go solve it themselves.
Inochi went into the living room without saying anything more while Mikomi went up to her room. She strip out of her uniform and got changed. She then went down to the living room. Her mom is there too. She is talking to Inochi.
Mikomi: What’s wrong, mom?
Yume: I just wanted your brother to help me buy some stuffs from the store but he said he won’t go.
Inochi: I want to relax at home. I am hardly here and you want to send me out.
Mikomi: I’ll go then.
Yume: Will you? Thanks Mikomi-chan. Here’s the money. (hands the money to Mikomi)
Mikomi: (took the money and puts it in her pocket) So what will you be needing me to buy?
Yume: Eggs and some vegetables. Pick any you like.
Mikomi: Okay. I’ll be going now.
Inochi follows Mikomi to the main door.
Inochi: Sorry about this.
Mikomi: It’s okay. I have been doing it for a while now so I don’t mind. You wanted to get away from the others so just stay home. I’ll be right back.
Inochi: Sometimes you can be really nice.
Mikomi: I have always been nice.
Usually grocery shopping is done by my mom in the mornings but once in a while she will forget to buy something and when that happens I will be the one who goes to the supermarket to get the things for her since I’m home most of the time after school hours. My brother used to be the one to do it but since he got into university, he is hardly at home. So I took over ever since. But I don’t hate it at all. It actually gives me a chance to spend some of her money on a little snack on the way home. Although she knows I do it she always let it go with a little advice on how it will affect my dinner appetite later. I have such a loving mom. My dad is just a simple salary man. My brother is actually a great brother although I seldom say it out.
