A girl is in a toilet cubicle crying. A few other girls are in the restroom as well. Two of them are in front of the closed cubicle trying to get the crying girl out of there. The remaining girl in there just washes her hands without caring about the commotion going on. Just then a guy came in. Everyone in restroom turn to him. He went towards the closed cubicle and after a few minutes of explanation and soothing words, the crying girl came out and hugs the guy. The restroom is empty except for the girl who was not involved in the commotion. And that girl is me.
Allow me to introduce myself. The name's Mikomi Shinjiru. I'm a 2nd year in this high school. I'm a pretty average girl. I'm not so good in studies so I’m only in class 2-4. I'm also not so good in sports so I’m not in any sports club. But I love reading and writing stories. No, I’m not in the literary club or the school magazine club. I'm a librarian. It’s not the best club to be in but I get to be around books and do my reading and writing as I like so I’m happy with it. The scene that just took place is typical here. Most of my school mates are going out with each other. During breaks everywhere you go in the school there will be couples hanging around. At first the teachers are always getting on their case but after a while it seems that they don’t care anymore. Since this school isn’t a prestigious high school, it seems the students’ behavior doesn’t bother the teachers unless they start doing things to embarrass the school. When that time comes all hell breaks loose. The teachers will go crazy and implement strict rules. It happened last year to a third year couple so I know how that was like. But once the couple left, the school went back to its normal situation with the teachers not being able to do anything about it.
