Mikomi and Makoto came out of the teacher’s office and walked together till the entrance of the school. They didn’t converse on the way. Mikomi bows in respect to Makoto and went off. She went out of the school and started her journey home on foot.
My house isn’t far from the school. I always walk to and from school. I actually wanted to go to a school slightly further away but my results aren’t that good so I ended up here but I don’t hate it at all. It’s not the school that gets you your grades, it’s you yourself. So no matter what school I go to if I study hard and do what I should, I can get to a university.
The walk home only took Mikomi about twenty minutes. The house she lives in is a normal two stories terrace house. The walls are off-white in color while the roof is blue. She opens the front door and closes it behind her. As she is taking off her shoes she makes a greeting.
Mikomi: I’m home.
A guy older than Mikomi who was just walking down the stairs nearby greeted her back. He is Inochi Shinjiru, Mikomi’s older brother who is university at the moment.
Inochi: Welcome home, Mi-chan.
