FLASHBACK
I was only thirteen then, in my first year of junior high. It was the summer vacation. The school decided to have a summer outing. I was the only one not very excited about it. I was being bullied by a certain sempai who likes Akano-nii. She hates me simply because I am so close to Akano-nii. She is a third year. She got to know Akano-nii from a club activity. She picks on me just because she hates seeing Akano-nii with another girl. That summer holiday, she was being extra harsh on me. Not only did she spread weird and bad rumours about me, she played pranks on me. The only friends who stood by me are Suteki-chan, Suzu-chan and Mahou-chan. They too got caught in the fire. They were also played tricks on.
Mahou: I can stand that Hibari. She went overboard with her tricks. I can’t believe she could make the teachers believe that we were the ones who stole the money needed for tomorrow’s excursion to the onsen. Now instead of being there with them tomorrow we have to work at the beach stall as a punishment.
Suzu: Well we were too careless with our things. Can’t believe she could sneak that money in our luggage.
Mikomi: It wasn’t there in the first place. Since she is in the student council, she has the authority to check our luggage. Bet she was holding to the envelope until she bends down to check our bags. That’s when she took it out from her pocket and pretends that it was in our luggage.
Suteki: That sounds like a detective speaking.
Mikomi: After so many months of tricks and pranks I think I know how her pranks and tricks work. She really is something to come up with all this.
Suzu: Yeah. Now our clean record is done for.
Mahou: The teacher did say he will not record it against us if we apologize to everyone and accept our punishment. We did apologize and tomorrow we will carry out our punishment so it will be fine. Our records will still be clean.
Mikomi: I’m sorry I drag you girls in this.
Suzu: No problem. We are here for you. We too can’t stand that Hibari. She thinks she is the perfect woman in this world. Hah. She should really look into the mirror.
Suteki: Let’s get our revenge. This summer holiday will be her last as a good student council. Her real identity will be reveal.
Mahou: Agreed.
The whole of summer, the girls kept destroying Hibari’s plan and keep making her get into trouble. The girls are so happy about what they have done. Being so happy about what they have done during that summer vacation, they didn’t expect things to get out of hand.
The first day back in school after the vacation, they got a shocked of their lives. Written in bold on the chalkboard are the words, “MIKOMI SHINJIRU at your SERVICE. CALL ME 24/7 at ********”. Shocked, they didn’t know how to react.
Student A: It’s written in all the other classrooms too.
Mahou: Can’t be.
Student B: I can’t believe the innocent Shinjiru-san is actually a pro at love-making. Ah. What a shock.
Suzu: It’s not true! That’s not true! Mikomi-chan is not like that at all! She is not!
Suteki: (turns to Mikomi) Mikomi-chan?
Mikomi: It’s all my fault. I shouldn’t have done all those things during summer vacation. It’s Hibari’s revenge on me.
Just then Akano came barging in. Without saying anything he wipes the chalk board clean. Then he face the class. In anger he bangs the table.
Akano: Whoever did this is the worst! Mikomi is not a whore! She is most pure and innocent girl I know! She will never ever let anyone touch her on her free will! So whoever dares to will feel my wrath!
Mikomi: Akano-nii.
Akano moves towards Mikomi and grabs her hand. Without saying anything he drags her out of school. The other three girls follow right behind. Only when they are safe at the Sugimoto’s resident did Akano release Mikomi’s hand.
Suteki: How did you know about it?
Akano: I have a spy in the school. He has been reporting everything that happens in the school. I knew that something serious will happen after knowing about what you girls did during the summer vacation.
Mahou: Thank you so much Akano-san. Without you I don’t think we know how to save Mikomi-chan.
Akano: It’s ok. Anyway, Inochi is still at the school dealing with the problem. He is most probably with the class teacher and relating the story.
Mikomi: Inochi-nii?
Akano: That’s why you don’t have to worry. We have all the proof we need to put Hibari in trouble and out of our way.
Mikomi: Thank you so much.
Mikomi hugs Akano and cries in his arms. Akano slowly stroke her hair and say soothing words to Mikomi. After a while, Mikomi stops and Akano looks at Mikomi directly.
Akano: You are the best girl I know. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Hibari is just some stupid girl who is extremely crazy. She lives in a world of her own and you shouldn’t bother about her any more.
Mikomi: I won’t Akano-nii.
Just as Inochi enters the room, Akano places a loving kiss on Mikomi right on her lips. Mikomi blushes. Inochi simply smiles seeing his sister happy again. The rest are slightly shock.
Akano: It’s a comfort kiss. However it also means that no matter what happens I will be there to protect you. You are after all my only sister whom I love dearly.
Mikomi: Akano-nii.
Inochi: (clear his throat) Don’t forget me.
Mikomi: Inochi-nii.
Mikomi runs to hug Inochi. Inochi hugs her back and kiss her on the forehead.
Inochi: I love you.
