I was just browsing a list of movies and thought that this movie was worth watching and so I load it up and watched it in the afternoon while waiting for a TV show to air. And so here I am to give my review on it. Something useless to those who doesn't need it but it might make some people watch it. However I do apologise for the weird review. Here goes...
GU GU the CAT
Ueno Juri and the three "fat" lady genin are in this show as the assistants to this female comic writer. Ueno is the narrator of the show. The female writer has a cat, CAVA which she has stayed together with for 15 years. The cat died and after a while, the comic writer bought another kitten. It was so cute. One day Gu Gu ran off with a female cat and that's when the female writer met a guy (K-san) who helped saved Gu Gu. Gu Gu had an operation and Gu Gu looks so cute with that cone thing around its head. There's a period where the comic writer did the narration herself. To narrate her story of the past. She started seeing K-san and together they followed Gu Gu on his adventure outside the house. Gu Gu is so cute. Gu Gu saw the female cat again and chased after it causing him to be lose sight of and they had to search for him. After all that searching, Gu Gu apparently is at home. Naughty Gu Gu. In order to write a new manga, the writer and her assistant did an experiment to know how it feels to be the main character.
There was a scene where Ueno's boyfriend ran off with a different girl (S-chan) and they all started chasing after them. That scene was fun to watch, like some kind of comic. But it end kinda tragic where the comic writer fell injured. It turn out that she has ovarian cancer. And K-san turns out to be a doctor. The assistants got S-chan and friends to help in cheering the comic writer. It was a nice scene. Then the writer went into operation. Then there is a scene where she has a conversation with a human version of her old cat CAVA. They talked about the past and the times they had. At the end CAVA thank the writer and they share a hug. After that the writer got better and wrote her new manga. At the end, Gu Gu is shown wondering around to where the characters of the story are before returning home to welcome home the writer. It was a nice story.
